Wedding Invitation

This past week I spent 3 evenings working on these invitations for my dear friend Beth. The first night I spent cutting the paper to the correct size and folding it, and cutting the ribbon. The second night involved lots of printing and lots of cutting. I first had to make sure the written part would fit in the pieces that I needed to cut. Then I had to print them. Follow that up with at least 200 shape punches and about 100 rolls through a paper cutting machine. And then this is what you get! The final night involved meeting up with Beth, Chris, Beth's mom, the MOA-Liz, and assembling all the invites.

All products are Stampin' Up products. The paper is Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla, ribbon is Chocolate Chip, smaller punch is the Curly Label punch (which I LOVE!!), and the bigger piece used the sweet Sizzix Big Shot with the Top Note die (which I absolutely LOVE even more).

The final design deviated a little from the original design, but I absoluetly love it. It is simple, but elegant (I think). If you have any other questions about it, let me know!

Happy Creating!

These look great! I'm impressed with all the work that went into them.

I'd like your opinion on paper purchasing sometime--such as, is it ever a good idea to purchase paper at Target?

Maybe you could do a few posts telling about the craft supplies you use most often--I'd find that helpful!
